About BPM Practice Profile – bpm architectural services Ltd. Bpm Architectural Services Ltd (formerly Boys Project Management) was formed in August 2001 by it's Director James Boys. BPM work on a wide range of projects including domestic alterations (extension and conversions), HMO conversions, commercial projects and new build flats and houses.
We offer a full architectural design and project management service ranging from feasibility studies, design and planning drawings through to detailed building regulation drawings, production information and contract administration. To date we have carried out in excess of 2300 projects of varying size and complexity.
We are small company offering an attentive, adaptive, friendly and professional service. We take pride in building up long term relationships with regular clients and other professions through offering a high level of service leading to repeat business and referrals.
Meet The Team James Boys
After leaving school, James worked for an Architect’s practice training to become a qualified architectural Technologist whilst attending college and university part time. A part time degree in Project Management for Construction followed resulting in James having a total of 9 years experience and education in the industry. Shortly after qualifying James went on to form his own practice in 2001. James has vast experience in architectural practice predominantly in the residential sector including new build and conversions whilst also having experience working in the hospitality and commercial sector. James is a key player in the team helping to deliver projects from inception to completion whilst having great leadership qualities when required. Having worked on several of his own construction projects and developments James has gained experience working as both the client and part of the design team.
Alex Walton
Alex has worked as an Architectural Designer / Technologist for six years taking hundreds of projects through the design process from initial concept to technical working drawings ready for work to start on site. His experience when paired with a degree in Architectural Technology BSc allows him to produce designs that meet the design brief whilst still meeting local and national planning laws and regulations.
Connor Mitchell
Connor is a Freelance Architectural Technician with a demonstrated history of working in the construction industry. As an Architectural Technologist, Connor has submitted and handled over 300 planning and building regulations applications. Connor has worked on projects of small to medium size, projects range from residential alterations & extensions to multiple storey mixed use developments. Connor has a thorough understanding of local planning policies and building regulation requirements and has maintained an excellent working relationship with both Building Control & Planning Officers.
Rosie Boys (part time - accounts)
Rosie studied Marketing at Sheffield Hallam University and then went to work in Publishing before marketing and customer account management at BMW. Rosie joined BPM in 2016 and looks after Accounts and Marketing.
Leo Farrauto Leo joined BPM in 2019 and is a full-time member of the team as a Junior Architectural Technician
